January E-newsletter: Orcas, Birds, Forests & South Australia

Dear Traveller,

I feel like nature is calling, and I can imagine you might be feeling the same way. As nature lovers, there is nothing quite like getting out into the wilderness where the air is fresh and there is nothing but birdsong and starry night skies.

When I think about it, we really are lucky to be here in Australia to have such a big backyard waiting to be explored. Even the most well-travelled explorers wouldn’t have seen everything this wonderful country has to offer, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try.

If you are itching for some nature travel as soon as possible, we might have exactly what you are looking for. Leaving in February and March are two of our South West WA expeditions, and they still have places available. You won’t have to wait long for your next holiday, and during this time of year the orcas visit, the temperature is pleasant and magnificent forests, coastlines and national parks are easily accessible.

If you are looking for more of an untamed outback experience, our South Australian tours might be the ticket. Australia’s largest salt lake, Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre, goes as far as the eye can see and offers a unique sense of isolation. The Flinders Ranges are dramatic and beautiful. Think ancient outback mountain ranges rich in history, geology, wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Last but not least, South Australia is home to truly iconic outback towns and desert tracks including Coober Pedy, the Birdsville Track and the Oodnadatta Track.

We know the current uncertainty surrounding borders makes committing to travel difficult, so we have revised our policies to give you more freedom to make plans and peace of mind should the situation change. Please view our website or give us a call for further details.

Lastly, we were thrilled to announce the release of our NEW COATES BROCHURE in our last e-newsletter. If you did not get a chance to view it and would like to take a look, please CLICK HERE for an online version. Or CLICK HERE if you prefer to have a copy posted out to you.

I hope you can join us out there soon.
