The recent flood waters in Queensland will flow south into the Lake Eyre Basin. The areas around Innamincka and Birdsville are already receiving flows, there is some flooding around the Goyder Lagoon and there is a strong chance that they will flow into Lake Eyre itself. These waters will, as in past floods, bring a vast array of birdlife to the area. To take advantage of the flood, Coates are offering a number of trips to Lake Eyre later in 2009...
