If you dream of seeing herds of gazelle, zebra, wildebeest and yearn to see lions, elephants, giraffes and primates in the wild then this magical African adventure is for you!
We've timed our visit to coincide with the annual 'migration' - when thousands of animals gather on the golden plains between Kenya and Tanzania. You'll also experience the fascinating ecosystems and wildlife in the forest and desert.
While on safari, you'll enjoy private game drives during the day and hear the sounds of the hyena, hippo and lion in the African night.
You will visit the arid northwest - home of the famous Samburu people and wild elephants, Lake Nakuru (famous for flamingoes, hippos and being the former home of Joy Adamson, the 'lion lady'); the misty Aberdare Ranges (the secret hideaway of the Mau Mau rebels in days gone by), and explore the amazing Masai Mara National Reserve where you can admire the wildlife, take a hot-air balloon ride or spend time in a Masai village.
We spend the last leg of this memorable tour stepping back in time on the exotic isle of Zanzibar.
Your tour guide will be Jeremy Perks, assisted by a team of local English-speaking driver/guides. Jeremy was born & raised in Africa. He is an award winning tour guide, with an extensive knowledge about the wildlife & culture of Africa.
